 Everyone that is planning on fishing the UBF / TBF qualifier at the end of March needs to plan on having there entry form and there money recieved by the dead line of February 29th.

BTW, it's going to be 65 degrees this coming Saturday at Powell

So I did the Powell thing again this last weekend not only was the weather beautiful, the fishing was pretty good as well.

I went down to Powell last weekend and let me tell ya what, the fish are starting to wake up.  I recommend that, if you can, you get down there during this pre-pre-spawn time of year and get yourself one of those good ones, there awake and ready to go!

Good morning Gentlemen, how much snow did ya'll get?  I got about six inches but today the suns out and it's beautiful.

So it looks like the fed meeting didn't go until 6 or 7 after all and here's some of the highlights.

- only 6 clubs in the TBF,numbers continue to go down
- OFF LIMITS rules is gone
-$13,656.54 in the bank, $9850 of that for the state team
- Spring qualifier date is set for 31 Mar and 1 Apr at Powell
- Summer qualifier date has changed to 18/19 Aug at the Gorge
- going to spend approx $2000 for getting the 501(C)3 accomplished
 
Besides that lots of talk about youth stuff and DNR needs.

BTW that fish H is holding on the front page is a 10 pound 11 ounce greenie he caught two weeks ago on lake Okeechobee down in florida.      Good job Mike!

Here is a copy of an email George sommer (the UBF President) sent out today.

Club Presidents,

We have been getting individuals sending their TBF/FLW dues to the UBF Treasurer.  I have asked Dane to send those checks back to those individuals.  We will gladly take individual checks for UBF DUES.  ALL TBF/FLW DUES go directly to TBF and are supposed to go through your club.  Any questions you can call or email Tonya at TBF.  Their phone number is (580) 765-9031

BTW: We have only received one clubs dues and roster - that of High Country Bass Club.  Please get your dues and roster to Dane ASAP.  And please do not put your State Team members in jeopardy by not sending your dues in (TBF/FLW and UBF).
